Welcome to the Bearden Vets family of veterinary hospitals located in Knoxville, TN. We are a full-service veterinary practice providing quality health care from two locations to better serve you and your pet’s needs.

We offer veterinary services including physical exams, vaccinations, surgery, dentistry, bathing, boarding, and more for a wide range of home pets including, of course, dogs, cats, and even rabbits. Our doctors and staff are professional, love animals, and care about the well-being and long-term health of your furry family members. Our vet care and pet boarding facilities are designed, equipped, and staffed to meet the needs of you and your pets.

What are the hours of operation?

Both locations are open 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Our West Bearden location is open on Saturdays 8:00 am – 1:30 pm.

Do you have boarding and grooming services?

Our boarding facilities are located at our West Bearden location. See the Pet Boarding & Facilities section of the Services page for more information. We gladly do bathing, nail trims, anal gland expression, and therapeutic clips. However, we do not have a professional groomer on staff at this time.

Do you accept emergencies?

For emergency situations, we direct emergencies to the Animal Emergency and Referral Center or the University of TN. Please review our emergencies page for more information.

What methods of payment are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks. We also accept (and can help you apply for) Care Credit. Please note: Payments are due at the time services are rendered. We do not accept payment plans at this time.

What is included in a yearly exam?

  • Dogs: an annual visit consists of a complete physical, a rabies vaccination (required by law), a Bordetella vaccination (kennel cough), and a DA2LPP vaccination, (distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, parvo, and leptospirosis). We also check for heartworms and intestinal parasites
  • Cats: an annual visit includes a complete physical, a rabies vaccination, an FDRCP vaccination (feline rhinotracheitis, calci, and panleukopenia), a FeLV vaccination (feline leukemia), and a check for intestinal parasites.
